Frequently asked questions

Your GPX track as a poster

Strava, Komoot, Garmin or Google Maps: print your marathon, trek or road trip as a high-resolution poster.

01

How do I turn my Strava, Komoot or GPX track into a poster?

Upload your GPX, FIT, TCX or KML file (exported from Strava, Garmin Connect, Komoot, Suunto, Coros or your watch), or paste the link to your Strava activity, Komoot tour or Google Maps route: your track appears on the poster instantly. Pick a map style, the route color, the title and the stats to show (distance, elevation gain, time), then download your print-ready poster. No app to install.
02

What kind of routes can I print as a poster?

Any route with a GPS track: marathon, half marathon, 10K, trail and ultra-trail, trek and hike (GR20, Tour du Mont Blanc, West Highland Way), van or car road trip, motorcycle trip and mountain passes, cycling trip, bikepacking, sportive or bike ride, ski touring, triathlon. A multi-stage trip comes together on a single poster.
03

How much does a Printrace poster cost?

Creating and previewing is free, no account needed. The high-resolution print files cost €4.99, one-time payment: 300 dpi PDF with bleed, vector SVG and PNG. Remove the Printrace logo or add your own: €0.99 per option. Framed prints delivered to your door are coming soon.
04

Which print sizes are available?

Three A-series sizes: small A4 (21 × 29.7 cm, 8.3 × 11.7 in), medium A3 (29.7 × 42 cm, 11.7 × 16.5 in) and large A2 (42 × 59.4 cm, 16.5 × 23.4 in). Files are 300 dpi at the exact size with a 3 mm bleed: print them at any print shop or photo lab and slip them into a standard frame.
05

Can I give a route poster as a gift?

Yes, it makes a great gift for a marathon runner, trail runner, hiker, cyclist or biker: get the GPX file of their race, trek or road trip (or the Google Maps route), create the poster with their name, date and time, then give them the HD files to print and frame. Framed prints delivered directly are coming soon.
